Dynamic Textile Orthoses

Lycra suits, or Dynamic Textile Orthoses as we call this product group, are individually designed to control neurological and muscular conditions. They provide improved body awareness and help improve motor skills. The deep sensitivity increases, which aids in the ability to determine the position of one's own body part. This is also known as proprioception or body perception. Several studies show that the combination of a Lycra orthosis and targeted exercise can provide improved function and motor skills, especially in people with Cerebral Palsy, but also in people with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS).
