ToeUP™ Textile ankle foot orthosis
ToeUP is a textile ankle foot orthosis designed for individuals with a mild form of foot drop. This orthosis features a low-profile textile ankle section that fastens above the malleoli (the bony prominence of the ankle). The ankle section is connected using an elastic cord with hooks, which are secured beneath the lacing or within the lacing holes on the shoe. This mechanism provides elevation for the forefoot during ambulation. You can adjust the level of elevation by altering the placement of the hooks or the strap on the ankle section. Additionally, there is a supplementary D-ring to fasten the straps together. ToeUP also offers an optional foot part component for indoor use. It is important to use ToeUP in conjunction with a sock.
Recommended Range Of Application
For patients experiencing mild symptoms of foot drop due to neuro- and/or muscular weakness in dorsiflexion.
Contraindications
Should not be use by patients exhibiting open wounds, swelling, redness, or a significant buildup of heat, as well as severe oedema and persons sensitive to Latex.
